Should I finish my business major or switch to bio?

I have been interested in biology, specifically molecular & biogerontology for a while now. At the moment I am half way through my business degree though. My parents are encouraging me to finish the business degree, but I still want to persue a PHD in biology one day.

I do not want to work in a random lab or anything besides rejuvination and anti-aging. So, with a lower demand for scientists, as well as a low salary even with a PHD, would it be wise to finish my business major and then double major in science, or just switch now to bio?

I have 15 classes for the business major (MIS)
& 31 to go for Bio.
But, it may be possible to get a position in business with a Bio degree.

I haven't slept for 60 hours trying to make the decision.

first of all, sleep for 7-8 hours because staying up that long isn’t going to help in rational decision making.

second, it’s really hard to get a phd in the science fields - and bad economy means more students applying for grad schools, but phd programs remain selective as ever. The good thing is, science degrees are pretty flexible and you could get a job working in business (or several fields) with the bio degree, whereas the business degree would kind of limit you to…business. If I were you, I would just switch to business instead of wasting time trying to double major…it would save you time and money.

Why don’t you double major?
