<p>I am an animal science major going to a community college to take all my lower division classes before I transfer to SLO. They have a major at the community college called Horse Ranch Management, so I’ve been taking those classes. But there are still 2 chem classes assist.org tells me I need in order to transfer. Should I focus on the those classes or finish up the horse classes? You don’t really need to major in something at a junior college, do you? I wanted to get my Associates Degree as well as tranfer to SLO. Any ideas? Thanks!</p>
<p>The bottom line is this: if assist.org says you need it, then you need it. Period. If you don’t have your required classes done by the time you transfer, then your chances of getting in are virtually 0%. Can I ask you why you want to get your Associate’s?
