Should I forward my QB app?

I'm a finalist, and there's one day left for us to forward our applications.
I know that some schools just want us to forward our applications, but I really would rather send in my Common App and just indicate that I'm a finalist.
Schools like Wesleyan (I think, but I'm not sure) say that we just forward our QB apps instead of our Common App, and we can send in our Common App too, if we want to. But I'd rather have them read my Common App as the primary source (if not the only).

So can I do that? Can I just indicate in my Common App that I'm a finalist and not send in my actual QB app?

Thanks!

The QB app helps confirm that you’re really a finalist. QB felt your essays were good enough to rank you as a finalist so maybe you’re being too self-critical. Many of the QB partner colleges want you to do the CommApp PLUS their own school’s supplemental essays and short answers so they will definitely have other stuff of yours to read. Also, you can add some more of your writing in that ‘anything else?’ section on the CommApp. So you’ll be swamping them with some other writing you may feel is stronger so they’re not just looking at your QB stuff.
