I checked the college board website and for critical reading i got a 630. That means I missed 14 questions. I know I messed up on cr, but I didnt think i did that badly. Is it worth the $50 to get my scantron handscored?

It's tough to say whether the hand score is worth it.

CB offers it for $50, if they find mistakes, they rescore your essay by hand. If your score is EXACTLY the same (no mistakes whatsoever), CB takes your $50.

If anything is wrong, regardless of it helping or hurting your score, CB refunds your money and adds/subtracts the appropriate points and revises your sealed score.

Personally, I'd only do it if you're absolutely sure that something was wrong...
-Your pencil was weird/you didn't shade darkly
-You shaded in odd shapes or had a few weirdly made answers
-You noticed a printing error anywhere on your answer sheet
-You've been having a lot of really wet/dry weather (which can make sheets go weirdly through the machines)
