should i get a P/NP

<p>im debating between getting a P/NP or a letter grade.
i currently have a C in a class, the class full fills AREA 1 of the CSU GE.
my counselor recommended my to not due the P/NP because CSU want letter grades.
so my problem is, i do not know weither to do it or not because i dont kno if i will be attending a UC or CSU. </p>

<p>should i get the P/NP to save my GPA and hurt my chances of a CSU
or
take the not take the P/NP, get a lower gpa and hurt my chances of UC</p>

<p>im a business admin major. im aiming at CSUs (SLO, CSULB, CSUF, CSULA) but i would like to get in to UCSB (the only UC im interested in).</p>

<p>I would change it to P/NP to improve your chances of getting into the UCs, especially if money is tight. You can always take classes again to get into the CSUs.</p>
