I already have The Insider's Essential Guide to SAT Critical Reading and Vocabulary and it's the best book for CR ever even though I'm not done reading it yet.
Do you think I should get the Critical Reader?
My CR was 640(could've gotten 700, did not study for vocab...) and 590(study vocab, aced it but got more passage questions wrong), first and second time respectively.

Should I get Chung's for SAT Math? I already have PWN The SAT.
I got a 680 and 710 respectively. I think now it's just careless mistakes.

For writing, I have the yellow book by Meltzer but it's the first edition, should I get the second edition?

Final thing, do you think I should get Barrons or Princeton Review or any other prep book for strategies etc?
Thanks guys.

I have the book. The only useful section for me was the discussion about types of passages and viewpoints. It’s hard to say since CR isn’t something you can directly study for (like grammar). Most of the stuff about tone and detail seemed axiomatic to me. The book goes over vocab and examination of answer choices, so maybe you will find it useful.

I also have the 2nd edition meltzer book. I think the section about subjunctives is updated for the new edition. Not sure about the rest though.

I don’t have the chung’s book, but lots of people spurn it for being harder than the real thing. I heard rave reviews for the PWN book, so I would stick with that book and do official practice tests.

Ok. So don’t bother with Chung’s and 2nd edition of the Grammar book?
And I guess I don’t need the Critical Reader…

Also should I get the SAT black prep book?

Nvm about the black prep book.
