SAT IIs, Math II: 660, Math I: 680, Lit: 610 (ouch)
Rank, top 5% of class of 620
12 AP classes, the rest all honors. Toughest curriculum possible

Essays .. commonapp one was amazing, dartmouth didnt have a supplement essay
Recs .. good, councilor rec amazing
Extracurrics .. debate captain, first place at Yale tournament, state qualifier for 3 yrs, nationals qualifier twice, district winner, first place at nearly every local

not really. two 3s and two 4s. yeah my ACT is terrible, i just hope they will look at my E and R being high, since those link into my major. i’m just not a math person

i have no idea why i didn’t apply ED. i don’t even know what bowdoin is. I’ve gotten into UMichigan and waitlisted at WUSTL so maybe/hopefully one of those schools i suppose. I’m waiting to hear back from emory, gtown, duke, dartmouth, berkeley

three weeks seems like an eternity! every week has been going by soo slow. and guess what guys just rejected at ****ing ucla. UCLA! it was like, a safety almost. ugh this is so hopeless.
Consolation, no not so much.

@ jackdaniels – Don’t worry about UCLA. UCLA is stupid anyway. I got rejected too. The tuition increase makes it barely worth thinking about going there anymore. So yeah. Don’t fret! Many better schools will accept you!

raelah, i agree about the tuition thing. i wasn’t going to go there, the idea of rejection there just hurts. like…ucla doesn’t think i’m good enough

romanticism, wow congrats and thanks!

njsoccer, no it’s not that i think highly of myself, i just thought i was way in their range for everything so i was very surprised
