I got a ****ing 1840 on my SAT ,my third try Jesus Christ. What makes it sooo annoying is the fact that I scored well above that in practice test BB practice tests. On my lest Prac test I got a 2030 M: 690 cr: 640 wr: 700. So went to take the dec SAT feeling very confident. And somehow, i honestly think this a mistake but I got M: 610 Cr: 590 wr: 640. This really crushed my spirits. I dont get how this could happen. Should I give the SAT one more try? what on earth should I do? Should I just give up on Ivys? I have fee waivers for ivys btw

I’d give it one more try; what do you have to lose, except regret?

Take it one more time…

Don’t ivies superscore?

I’ve only taken one SAT II. So can I take two SAT II’s in januray and then the SAT in March? Is that just crazy??

No Ivy will accept the March SAT.

give up man, sorry.

Should have tried the ACT atleast once too.

If I take two SAT II’s in january and score at least a 700 in both will I have a shot at ivyss???

Not with an 1840 SAT

Honestly, what does an Ivy school matter if you’re going to graduate school. Surely, every Ivy League wouldn’t fit you.

noo chance whatsover??

@ awalczak I dont understand what ur saying

Not unless you have exemplary ECs or are an URM

Currently you need at least two subjects at most if not all Ivy League schools.
Meaning you would need to take your 2nd subject test in January.

Cornell probably has the lowest SAT average:
25th - 75th
630 - 730 (CR)
660 - 770 (M)

Your SAT score of 1840 will be in the bottom quartile by a significant margin. From my experience the students are in bottom quartile tend to be URMs and athletes.

i heard it has to be 2350+, i got a 2260 and i’m worried so unless you have special circumstances

You can take the ACT in February I think.

just try.
it doesn’t hurt to apply.

it only hurts to get rejected. hahaha.

Whats a ec and a urm???

give up; you have no chance
