Should I give up on trying to go to boarding school?

Ok, so I need some help! I am in 9th grade, and I really do not like my current school. They will not allow me to take the classes I want to and are making me take some VERY stupid classes I believe are a waste of my time.(specials) I am very quiet, and all my friends last year are going to other schools or moved. I REALLY want boarding school, but my parents do not have much money ( they could probably only pay about $4,000 a year) and they are really not fond of me going away. I heard its almost impossible to get into a boarding school on almost full FA, even if you are a nearly perfect student. I know I am very much qualified, but I am white, and I do not have much cultural diversity. These are things I have accomplished this year and last year: I got MVR on XC 2 years in a row, this year I am on Varsity XC, I got best 8th grade track runner last year, I finished a 200 hour service project( my girlscout silver award) and through that I won $5,000 for the project from pepsi in a competition, and I got an award from the governer for youth community service, I was in the NJHS and NJAHS last year, I was in mural club and drama club last year, I have 50 hours of community service working with special needs children during gym last year, I have performed at my school and church (singing), I am a member of 2 youth groups, I play recreation basketball, this year I am doing key club, ROCT, possibly World Language Club, I am a girlscout troop leader, I am in all honors class, this year and last year ( so far, first marking period ended today) I have had straight A+'s, I got almost all perfect scores on my state standardized testing, I came in 6th for a math competition in my schoool last year, and I have done other stuff that I can't remember. I know this is outrageously long, but should I give up hope? I am starting to get really upset because I am starting to feel like going to boarding school is impossible for me to do :(

Don’t give up.
I’m a international student who require full FA,too. I don’t have any strength. I still insist. Schools like Exeter and Andover offer full FA. Once again, if try this time, you’ll never be regret.

Are there other day school options in your area?

Look up school profiles, and select schools with large endowments, who are likelier to have more scholarship funds available. You didn’t mention where you’re from, but some schools will be delighted to attract students from outside their immediate geographic region. Try Peddie, in NJ, and George, Westtown, and Mercersburg, in PA, if you come from outside the mid-Atlantic states.

I am from NJ  I have heard good and bad things about Peddie…but I have also heard good things :)
