Currently, I am taking courses in Pasadena City College. I currenty have a 2.74 GPA. I got D's in three of my math classes and a D in Economics 1A couple of years ago. I need to retake them. For other courses that I also previously took, I got either C's, B's, and a few A's. Now, I am taking a CIS 36 class that I want to drop with a W. I am thinking about dropping this course because I suck at programming and the professor is strict with the coding. It will be the first W that I have ever got if I did drop. I Googled and read about dropping with a W. There are two different responses that say it does have an affect on transferring and getting accepted to a University/Cal State. While others (most of them) say it does not matter. It is just the GPA that matters. Now, I am confused about whether to drop or not.
Along with doing my general education, I have to do the requirements. I told the counselor that I wanted to major in computer information systems. I am planning to transfer to Cal State Los Angeles because I think that is the only place I have a chance to transfer to. The requirements that I need is: English 1C, Accounting 1A/1B, Business 12A, CIS 10 or BIT25, Economics 1A/1B, Math 5A or Business 14B, Statistics 50 or 15, and CIS16 or CIS 36. I passed Business 12A (B grade) and CIS 10 (A grade) along with the other courses in my GE, except for math. I really suck at math. So I want to avoid any majors that has to do with mathematics. Should I change my major to something else, like Criiminal Justice (which the requirements are only English 1C, Administration of Justice 10 and 12 to transfer along with the CSU GE)?
Or should I just forget about all of this college stuff, go out, and just find a job to do?

Thank you for your help. I really appreciate you listening to what I have to say. Thank you!
