Should I go for a B or stay with C?

Okay so this is the situation. I emailed my teacher awhile back ago about bringing up my grade and this is what he said

So I finished the review stuff and I did really good on the FRQs and took the AP today. So I checked my grade and it went up from a 64 to a 72 because he put in my semester test grade (based on the FRQs from review session I got a 95 :) ).

So should I go for the makeup quizzes or just stay where I am?

always aim for the best.

^But it might be pointless…like how could I bring it up to a B from a really low C?

Go for the makeup quizes. Do some extre-cred.
Even 1 point better is better than what you may have now.

Trying hard is the purpose, not the end result (even though we do like it )

You have make ups and retakes in an AP class?D:
My teacher never gives retake because it is OUR responsibility to keep up with work.

The end does not justify the means. Rather, the means justify the ends.

Go for it, if you fall short you’ll still benefit from it.

@FallenAngel9 lol that is my favorite quote and I use it to my life (the original one) “The end justifies the means”

i say go for the B! it might be easier than you think…

Aim for a B or at least a B-. You’re not that far away.

@nathanielZhu I am whole 8points away! That’s a lot to me

Here’s a question… What will go on your report card? A 72, C-, or a C? If it’s th2 72 or the C-, you should work your hardest to get it higher. A 75 looks better than 72 and a C looks better than a C-.

If your teacher is willing to work with you, I’d say go for the B. I still kick myself for the C+ that I got in sophomore English. It kept me off of Honor Roll, and my teacher allowed us to rewrite our essays. I just didn’t try hard enough. If I had, I would have had a B or B- and made Honor Roll that year. >_<

@AUGirl it will just be a C if it is 70-79 no + or -

You’re on CC. Everyone’s going to tell you to try to get a B.

I personally wouldn’t care enough. But I don’t try hard unless there’s definitely going to be some benefit from it, lol. Why would you do all that work if you’re getting a C no matter what? But I’m a huge slacker, so whatever lol

^lmao!!! That is my exact logic! So I guess I am going to talk to him and just ask if there is anyway possible I can bring it up to a B…talk about awkward
