Should I go for/risk EA? Thanks!

Dear @Windhunde:
If you really think your SAT scores do not represent you, it’s not too late to sign up late for the Nov 7th SATs. Scores will be sent to colleges on Nov 24th, which works for RA.

My daughters GPA is equivalent to yours, but her SAT is around 1800. She has applied Early Action to both Boston College and Notre Dame. While ND is likely to take a pass, my expectation is that BC admits her. As a graduate of Boston College, and a yearly donor along with company match, my hope is that BC does a legacy admit. As others have said, if you have a Jesuit educated friend to help with your essays, that would be ideal. Understanding what the Jesuits are after is crucial for you. You don’t say your Catholic, but realize that 70% or greater of the admitted class is Catholic.

Hey guys! Since you guys helped me so much through this process and I’m sure you will help kids after me, I just wanted to tell you guys that I got in to CSOM!!! So hopefully now you can use this to help other kids who need advice. Thanks guys!

Yes! So glad you went for it! Congrats on your acceptance!
Let us know if you enroll. Congrats again!!

Congrats Windhunde! If you decide to go to BC, make sure you join the band! It’s so awesome and a great was to make close friends quickly. (My daughter’s also in CSOM.)

'Grats.
