Okay, I'm pretty much stuck and I need some advice. My school has replaced ALL AP classes with IB classes, which forces all of the honors/ap students to either take IB, do running start (aka take classes at community colleges), or take regular classes- which is something that I won't be doing.

I'm a sophomore right now and I'm currently taking 2 honors classes (Language Arts and World History). I'm taking regular Math 2 and Biology (there is no honors in science).

If you want the diploma, you have to take all 6 IB classes, which fills up my entire schedule. There are tests at the end of the classes where you have to pass it to get the diploma, and I don't think I can pass the math test- I'm horrible at math! But will it be a waste to take 4 IB classes? Currently, I'm signed up for IB Biology, IB History of Americas, IB World Literature, and IB Theory of Knowledge (An elective). And my other 2 classes are Spanish 3 and Math 3.

Math studies SL is quite easy to do even for people "horrible" at math.

Do take IB classes. From what I've heard, they are more rigorous than community college courses. You also build a closer community with your peers by in IB classes vs. traveling out to a community college.

I definately think I'm going to take those 4, but do you guys think I should go for the other IB Math class? That's the only one I'm missing to actually be able to get the diploma. But supposedly the tests that you are required to take (like finals) are shared among other countries. So those super smart people in Korea and Japan and other countries are taking the exact same test, and it really worries me.

But I seriously am horrible at math. I had a D in math last week, but I was able to bring it up to an A right before mid term ended. Hmm..

Seriously, IB Math Studies (what I'm assuming you'll test in) is REALLY easy. You can definitely get a good score even if you're "horrible" at math. I'm in the IB program and personally love what it has done for me. I'd definitely give it a shot.

You can still "fail" math and get your IB diploma...In my country, a 3 will mean you passed the subject on a national level, and a 4 onwards that you passed it on an IB level.. so you can still score say a 3 in math and get your diploma
