I am currently a senior in high school, I got a 26 on my ACT and have a 4.0 gpa. I enjoy computers alot and have taken computer science courses at my high school. I did receive a 4 on my apcs test.
I do live in North Dakota, family is everything so I want to stay here. I will probably get my generals at a community college and then continue at a state college. From what I have found, there isn’t that many CS jobs in North Dakota, I have also read that the outlook is decreasing and have also seen that it is increasing.
So my question is would it be worth it getting a CS degree if I want to stay in North Dakota? Thanks!
What other college majors and career paths are you considering?
A 4.0 HS GPA and 26 ACT would get you at least one automatic free ride, but if such things interest you, you may want to retry the ACT and try the SAT to see if you can get a higher score to qualify for more options.
