Should i go to BC?

Hi,
So i got into BC early action. except i didn’t get any financial aid. should i go to BC or opt for the cheaper schools, such as UConn and UMass Amherst?

cheaper school unless your parents are super rich

Only you can answer the question: “Should I go to BC?”

Look at the four year costs for BC, UConn, and UMass Amherst. Then ask yourself if you can afford to pay the difference or are willing to take on the debt for a private school (like BC).

You’ll get a good education at all three schools (especially for UConn where you are in their honors program).

Just go to the cheaper school if there is a drastic difference.

Just work hard and you’ll turn out the same.

Only you and your parents can determine if BC is affordable without financial aid. If $50K+ per year is too big a burden – for example, requiring an excessive amount of loans – then choose one of the other options. You can get an excellent education at any of these schools if you are willing to put in the effort.

If you’re definitely not getting money from BC (you asked the FA office for more even after the initial rejection of financial aid), than I recommend going to another school.

I love my BC education, but there is no way it is worth $200k more than the other schools you have listed.
