I got accepted and I recognize its prestige but it just doesn't seem like it's for me.

For 1, there doesn't seem to be much diversity there. My visit there reeks of religious vibe, which I dont want affect my education. I heard people there are snobby, rich, and preppy.

A question: how good is the science department (engineering, computer, etc.)?

I'm considering going here because they gave me a bunch of $$.

Look, I'm biased because I am a BC grad who loved it. I am not Catholic and I never felt any pressure to become Catholic. Once you get over the architecture, the religious factor fades away if you want it to. If you are the religious type there are plenty of opportunities to grow in your faith. I opted not grow... probably shrank actually.
2 of my former roommates are in medical school and 1 computer science major friend has an awesome job that she loves within her field. Go for admitted eagle day with an open mind and see what you think.
Ultimately, go where you will be happy, whether that is BC or somewhere else.

Where else did you apply?

I applied to umass am, bu, clark u, northeastern, a local state school, assumption college, and wpi, accepted to all.

Thanks for the input BC07. It's actually the type of student that concern me the most. I visited there and wasn't phased much on the religious aspect. It's the cockiness, preppiness, etc. of the students that I am most concerned about, of which I've heard (never experienced the students themselves).

if you don't think it's for you (and you get $ somewhere else), don't go-it's that simple :p
