Should I go to cal state Northridge or to SMC I want to study biotech. Genetic/ or microbiology...

I like to study a biomedical or major in biotechnology as well. I got in to Csun from HS, in their biotech. Major, but I cannot decide which one is better, because SMC it’s crowded now days and I feel what if I go there and I stuck, however I like to try have the endorm experience as well, but I also not too sure if cal states would be good for researching areas? Also I like to go in a uc that good for research do you think does it matter for the undergraduate where to go and You guys can you please tell me what to do I am driving myself supper crazy? Thanks

I’d head to Northridge and not look back. It is a good school and respected program, you’ll be out in 4 years with a very good education and some great experiences under your belt.

College level science courses are very difficult and time consuming. Earning the 3.3-3.6 GPA that’s required to transfer into most UCs is a high hurdle to clear in your first 3 semesters of college. There’s no guarantee you’ll make it into any UC - or even be accepted back at Northridge again.

SMC is crowded, but there are still ways to get your classes: Scholars/Honors Programs, EOP, Vets, Black Collegians, etc all offer priority registration.

That being said, CSUN is an excellent school. It would be an excellent choice.

My english isn’t awesome, I am english language learner, And Fasfa would cover all my tuition accept living in dorm for csun so I have to pay out of pocket and little expensive for my parents, and I don’t want to get loan until my graduate school. Do you think csun is a better school for me or should I go to SMC? Just something s SM C bad, is it so difficult, what is the best apathy to go??? that I u so much for replying

Honestly u guys making decision it’s so much challenging for me and I don’t know how to make up my mind???
