I don’t know I should I go to CUNY or SUNY. I want to go to UAlbany or Binghamton. But, if I go to SUNY, I have to pay for dorm and meal, so the expense will be significantly higher. .On the other hand, Binghamton and Ualbany are more competitive. However, My mom told me to go to CUNY, she was like " every college is the same.No one cares where you go to college when you look for a job. Don’t go far away." I don’t want to stay in NYC. I want to go somewhere else. If the expense of attending SUNY is higher, how much higher? By the way, I don’t know what major I will take. Therefore, it is impossible to choose school based on majors.
If you want to get away from NYC and you can afford it, I think it is reasonable to go upstate. It would be more expensive, but SUNY is still reasonably priced.
I’d go to Binghamton, I don’t think Albany is all that competitive to be honest.
