Should I go to ELAC for the winter?

As most of you may already know, the budget cuts are taking a huge toll on colleges across California. I'm having a very hard time getting my classes. This semester I had to take classes at both Pasadena City College and Los Angeles City College.

Anyway, I really wanted to take classes over the winter, but LACC canceled their winter intersession, and PCC is only offering a limited amount of classes. By the time I get to register for my classes, most of them will already be full. I currently have two options:

Attempt to add classes at PCC.

or

Enroll at ELAC. It's less impacted over there, and it looks like I MIGHT have a shot at getting classes.

The downside to the whole ELAC thing is that I'm already enrolled in PCC and LACC. I don't want to enroll in ELAC too. That's too much. My question is, does it even matter if I enroll at so many colleges? I'm safe as long as I take the right classes to transfer right?

I enrolled at 5 community colleges during my IGETC coursework. I did them all in the LACCD because of the cross enrollment that is accesible. I would say go do the paperwork at ELAC now, which is just the application for the school so that you’re given an appointment time to register. ELAC, from my experience was the least stressful. Lines were never long or excessive. They didn’t make you do all the steps like LACC does just to enroll.

ELAC is my favorite. It has a very relaxing environment and the people that go here are very chill. There’s a lot of construction going on that is annoying (I would know…ugh) but the registration is very easy. I would go to ELAC for the winter.

Thanks for the advice guys. I might take ELAC into consideration since all of the classes that I want to take at PCC are now officially full.
