I was accepted into the NYUCN and I REALLY want to go. In total, I have received 35K in scholarships and grants, which covers a lot of the tuition! But I still need about 25K in loans each year for the rest of the tuition, living expenses, housing, and other fees. That amount plus interest adds up quickly, which makes me hesitant to accept the admission offer. I'm super conflicted!!! PLEASE HELP!

hey, when did you get accepted? i applied also but i havnt received anything so far. Whats you efc, how did nyu give you that much money? if i were in your position i would go. my efc is 9,003 i would only go if it was like 10-15k because i have family in ny. do you know anyone else who has gotten accepted, and do you know how many theyre accepting?

I don’t understand… why can’t you go to a community college and become a RN in 2 years. Save money that way and then re-apply to NYU for your Bachelors.

Because I want the experience of going away from home and at the NYU school of nursing they have many study abroad programs I am interested in. There are many other reasons and I’m just tired of living in Miami and I’m willing to pay the extra money that I have saved up to have this experience. I’ve been at a community college for 2 years getting my AA and I want a change.

Do you and @jennybirdd mind posting your stats? I’m considering applying to NYU Nursing as a transfer as well.
