<p>Are the aspects.. I'm liberal and a surfer/laid back type of guy from FL. I'm from FL, and got 32k to UMiami and 28k to SMU!</p>

<p>Miami is the superior academic institution. I would opt to go there. SMU is also a very conservative campus.</p>
<p>My son toured both and they are so different from each other. Didn’t you see them? Which one “felt” better?</p>
<p>I saw them both and Miami felt better. It felt like home. I think part of the thing about SMU is that my sister went there and I used to go and have lots of fun and look up to all her guy friends and what not, and have heard all about how fun it is. But being more liberal, I really couldn’t see myself in Dallas.</p>
<p>That’s what I thought you’d say. I think you know which choice is best!</p>
