Should I have gone to Texas A&M?

I’m attending UTD for finance. When I started community college, I wanted to attend A&M or UT Austin mostly because the school’s reputation and I knew people going there.Plus, both are closer to home than UTD. I decided to go to UTD because I felt A&M and UTA’s business school would be hard to get in to and, because of that, I also feared the classes would be hard. Being a first college student in my family, I didnt want to stress myself out by going to one of Texas’s top schools. I did not really think much of UTD. Recently I was told, and been finding out, that UTD’s business school is a real good buisness school. Even though UTD had less applicants, they have a lower acceptance rate than UT Austin and A&M. Kind makes me feel like i had a chance in getting accepted to the other schools, but i only applied to UTD.I dont really regret my decision mostly because my tuition is paid off with the school’s scholarships and grants and i only have to worry about housing. Plus, because i planned ahead, all the classes i took in cc transferred to UTD. A&M and UTA had different prerequisites for a finance degree, so not all of my classes would transfer.

You can’t go back and change your decision, so no use worrying about it now, right? UTD is a good school and I think everything will be fine. You don’t have to go to a top school to succeed.
