Hi, I had a question about the discipline section of the common app. I’m not to sure if I should include my Saturday detention I got in 9th grade. It was for academic dishonesty and I talked to my counselor about it. She said that it won’t come on the transcript and won’t be reported to colleges. So what should I do for the discipline section in the common app?

If you are sure it doesn’t appear anywhere on your transcript and won’t be reported, than I’d skip it.

Also, there is no more discipline section in the Common App, though some schools still ask in their individual sections.
A detention does not qualify, not by anybody’s standards. (Though I do hope that ninth-grade one was a one-off 
)
