I’ve taken a few non-credit courses outside of high school and want to include them on my college applications because they demonstrate that I have furthered my interest in some areas that school was unable to further. However, because they’re not dual-enrollment or college courses, I don’t know whether I should include them. Would it be appropriate to include these courses in the extracurricular activities section, let alone college application?
I included non-credit courses in the education section for the same reasons you’re considering. I think you should list them somewhere too- extracurricular only if you need more ECs, otherwise you can select that you weren’t awarded credit for these courses when you list them in the education section.
Thanks! I’ll do that.
