So I come from Tunisia, and I think most AOs will not be familiar with our grading system which is much, much harder than that of the US. Also, the Mathematics taught in High School in my country is very rigorous and proof-based (Number Theory, Real Analysis, Probability Theory, Similarity and Plane Transformations…). Also, Physics and Chemistry are the same subject but in all my transcripts it’s just called Physics. Should I mention these in the Additional Information section?
No. Your counselor should mention it. But AOs, at least at top schools, understand foreign grading and your math will be evident from the transcript.
Thanks for the answer. High School transcripts in my country are extremely barebones. There’s just the name of the course (Math), the grade and the class rank, literally nothing else so the subjects covered will not be evident.
