Should I include this in the ECs/Awards section?

<p>Should I include the fact that I got a bronze medal (top 10 percent) on the National French Contest Exam as one of the awards? Is that important enough or not?</p>

<p>Also, under Math Club participation, should I include a local award?</p>

<p>Why not? Unless your awards section is completely full, there’s no true reason not to.</p>

<p>I guess you’re right, I just don’t want the adcoms to think I’m filling up the section with bogus awards just to make it look full.</p>

<p>A bogus award would be “Voted most likely to succeed in elementary school.” The awards your talking about seem pretty legit, even though they probably aren’t the kind that will make a huge difference in your application.</p>

<p>your awards do seem legit, so why not? Do not leave anything out that may help you. Just make sure your resume looks well put together and easy to read. Get an already made resume format.</p>
