Should I inform them about....

I know it is too late to send any supplementary materials to MIT. But recently I have acquired a great leadership position. More specifically I am now appointed as the secretary of an organization run by senior students, (known as A+ academic counselling) sponsored by a local tutoring center. I didn't have any spectacular leadership position in my application but I think this one is a great one to inform them about. So should I email them about this activity or should I just leave it out?

Fax it in and email them and then send an overnight letter.
It never hurts to 1) be redundant about something you really hope will be considered and 2) just try, maybe someone will look at it. who knows. good luck either way.
