<p>My self esteem sure goes down looking around the boards here. I'm going to be a senior next year so, should I just give up and sign up for community college?</p>

<p>No, you shouldn't give up. v_v I can't believe you're so weak that you'd think you can't go to a 4 year college just by being around some wanna be princeton picks. There are plenty of colleges you can get into. Heck, I think my stats may be worse than yours (besides the SAT... XD), but I'm still a shoo-in at a quality university.</p>

<p>Why do some people post just to boos their egos? You have a 1350 of course you'll get into colleges! People complain when we worry whether we'll get into ivies with 1450+, but this has to be worse. </p>
<p>Your stats put you in around the top 15% of students. The avg SAT at my school is probably like 1200, and almost everyone attends college. You can probably get into a top 25 school, for crying out loud!</p>
<p>I didn't mean to anger emperor500. It's just that I live in the Bay Area and it seems to me like the super smart people go to Berkeley, Stanford or LA. It seems like my only options are to go to a state school or community school because of my lower economic standing and my seemingly average stats.</p>

<p>Dude, don't worry I think you can get in to some good UC schools with those scores. And, the state schools in Cali aren't all that bad.</p>
<p>Yeah, I didn't mean to seem mad. When I wrote that post last night, it did seem a little mean, but I was too tired to make it seem nicer. </p>
<p>As you said, you live in an area where a 1350 is considered average. So "ego" wasn't the right word, probably more like lacking self-confidence due to the amazing stats of everyone around you. Anyway, your stats are great and you'll def get into most UCs. With your stats, you'll get some scholarships for private colleges as well.</p>
