I went online today to submit my app. to Tufts. Little did I know, the Tufts Supp. was due THE FIRST, while the Common App. is due the 10th. I just thought all RD stuff was due the tenth. I e-mailed them (although I kind of regret it now...i should have just played dumb and hoped they would overlook it on their own) asking them what will happen to me. Do you think they'll reject me outright? I mean, it was only a day late and all of my teacher recs and scores are there, so my "file" should be made already, I would assume. What are your experiences with this...?

No. They will not reject you outright and they will still read your application. It should not be a problem, especially this year because of Jan. 1 falling over a weekend.

You don't have to freak out. Deadlines aren't as absolutely strict as they seem. The admissions committee will probably accept your late supplement. If you're a highly qualified student, an admissions committee isn't going to out right reject you because of a late supplement. Just make sure that you let them know over the phone or by email that you're sending something in late so they know it's coming. Just to ease your worries, admission committees aren't evil entities whose sole purpose is to find some small mistake that allows them to reject your application.
