Should I link or add a file of a video to the "additional information" section of the Common App?

Hi guys,

I am a trained Indian Classical Singer (about to take diploma test after 10 years of learning). Most recently, I performed a bollywood song at an event infront of 800 people. Would it be weird if I explained my love for music and linked it in the “additional information” section of the Common App? I am writing about something else for my common app essay and don’t know where else I would include it. The supplemental arts section asks for requirements that Indian music doesn’t really satisfy so I can’t send it there either.

Would it hurt my chances or be too weird if I did this? Btw this would be for higher caliber schools like UMich and the Ivy League.

Are you allowed to? Yes. Should you? Well, that’s up to you I guess.

That said, I have heard many AOs say that they will not click links for security reasons or because they simply don;t have the time. Others have said that they will look it they are intrigued. So just be aware that just because you include a link does not mean that it will be viewed.
