I recently broke curfew, was ticketed, went to court, and was ordered to pay a fine.
I was wondering, on the section where it asks "have you ever been convicted of a misdemeanor, felony, or other crime" if I should say yes, and explain the curfew. On the ticket, it says that curfew violation is neither a misdemeanor or a felony, just an infraction, so I was wondering if anyone knew.
Any help is appreciated!

If I remember right, they added that section to cut down on school shootings (if a student had a history of violent behavior, it was unlikely they’d be accepted).

You have two options, leave out what happened and risk being found out later and denied admission, even after being accepted OR write it out and explain it, I’m sure they’ll appreciate your honesty, and really doubt something so miniscule will have a negative impact on your application.

no i’d leave it out and if they question you say specifically that the ticket was “NOT a misdemeanor, just an infraction”. the wording is important
