Hi everyone,
So I am currently undeclared at my school and Im going to transfer out and I planned to eventually major in either International Studies or International Relations (depending on the school I go to) but now Im having second thoughts. I’ve been seeing lots of people say that this major won’t help me in job prospects after I graduate (undergrad or grad) and I just wanted to know the nitty gritty, is it hard to find a job? I wanted to work for the UN or a non profit, but the UN is hard to crack and non profits dont necessarily pay very well. Dont get me wrong, I am VERY passionate about humanitarian efforts and will always be, but coming from a poor background, I dont want to be in the same position my parents have been in. Anyone maybe majoring or experience in the field please answer, I would really appreciate it!
