I am a JC student applying to UC Berkeley right now. Heres the situation: I have all the assist.org recommended classes for going into psychology right now, but psychology is a very competitive field. UC Berkeley lists a total of 5 classes for cognitive science prerequisites, but i dont have any of them (3 of them arent even offered in my school), however, cognitive science is said to be much less competitive.

What do you think? Would i have a higher chance of entering as a psychology major or cognitive science major in your opinion?
