Should I mention a mental illness?

<p>I have clinically-diagnosed OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder). This was a difficulty during my pre-high school and freshman years. Since then, I have prevailed over it. I was wondering, given my stats, if I should mention it on my app?</p>

Passing yourself off as a bhat disabled sounds very risky to me. Try it for like half of the schools.</p>

<p>Anyway, your GC rec would be best to place your condition there, not out of the blue on the additional info. See if your counselor isn’t too busy over break to handle a quick change?</p>

<p>I am clinically diagnosed with OCD too, Zoloft really helps me control it. I know what it’s like to live with this and I had an extremely rough time with it from 6th-9th grade where I finally got help. Idk about mentioning it but I just wanted to add that because it’s nice to see someone else that’s been in the same boat as me.</p>
