should i mention I model?

Ok so my dream school in smith and if i can't get into that school i would be ok with one of the seven sisters. But I love smith.

I have a 3.4 GPA and tons of leader chip roles and ec's. I also did reaserch with professor linda craighead at eh U of Colorado.

I don't know if I should tall them I modle.

Do you think that would detererate from my application? Help? would i seam dizy? fake? well rounded

would it sett me apart is a good or bad way

would it matter, it doas take a substantiol about of my time and that gives me alot of work experiance.

I dcon't know, please tell me/

okay i dont know if ur thread is a post to make fun of models, but you SERIOUSLY have ALOT of spelling errors. leader chip? ...hope u didnt write like that in your applications

lol... .

You could talk about it, but from the standpoint of responsibility, time management, as a job, etc. The spelling errors will make you look dizzy

um... i'm gonna have to say that i couldn't give you an informed opinion unless i see some of your modeling work... so if you could post a link on here that'd be great ;)

bump on that modeling work? linkedy link link

this must be a joke? there are way too many spelling errors for this to be serious. if you can spell 'butterfly', easy words like 'tell' and 'dizzy' should be a sinch

haha, im sorry, i just dont believe this is for real

Yeah... um I don't know if you are making fun of models or WHAT, but I hope and pray that you didn't send your applications with that many spelling errors! Seriously...

Gosh all you spelling freaks need to just answer the question. How many more post will we have to read regarding the spelling errors.

As for the modeling, I think if it is a serious thing like where you actually work and not just a one time thing or two time thing then put it down. But if it really doesn't make a difference(which you can personally make a judgement on, then don't.

Samp, it should be "Don't go to Smith if you are intolerant." There are men at Amherst, Hampshire, and UMASS. I know many people who are straight and who love Smith. There have recently been posts about tensions between gay and straight Smithies, and there does not seem to be much of a problem.

"Don't go to Smith if you are intolerant."
^word. Nicely put.

OP, since it's something you do that you enjoy, what's the harm in mentioning it? I think modelling is a great way to have some fun and earn some extra $$. Just be yourself, and represent that self honestly on yr application.
Good luck, and hopefully, I'll see you at Smith some day!

...yeah i'm going to need to see some of that modeling work before i can give you a good, well-formulated opinion...so if you could make with the pictures that'd be great... ;)

[ps- i'm kidding]

I think you should. It shows a commitment/passion, always good.

If this is a joke, which it might be based on the incredible amount of spelling errors, it's not funny

lol, it's kinda funny... i wish it were real though, maybe she'd make with the pictures

it seems really fake- and I'm not so sure about the sn. And since I'm a girl, I'm not too interested in any pictures she has

thats a cool name for my xblive... Leader Chip ... i like

i think she and her spelling are serious considering her other posts

She meant ditzy not dizzy anyway, you spelling fr---

any way... yeah, you should put it on... work experience is good, model, cash register, or whatever... though 3.4 for Smith might not cut it, the seven sisters are crazy competitive to get into, even if they are all girls schools.

lets put it this way ms. butterysmooches. If you model and are really really HOT go for an interview. Make sure you get an interview with a guy and if you truly are that hot you should be fine...

ok. This is realy. I am not going to post pictures or try to get into smith by protraying myself as a skank. Thats one of the reasons that I like smith I won't be considerd an object. There they will think of me as a serious student not a sex toy, because i'm not.
I know i'm a bad speller, but I didn't think I had to spellcheck it here. This is a real post and i'm completely apalled that because I am a bad speller that people would think that my post is fake.

For the people that actualy answeard my question thanks so much. I will definitly metion it. :)
