Should I mention specific classes that interest me in my cornell supplement?

Hey,

I am applying as a Fall 2012 transfer to ILR. I hear ILR especially cares a lot about how you show interest for their program in the essay. Should I mention specific classes that are a part of the program that interest me? Would I just give the titles or possibly even the course numbers?

Any input appreciated.

I would think titles are sufficient. In my essay, I mentioned some specific classes I would have a hard time finding anywhere but Cornell.

When I wrote my supplement I mentioned specific facilities that Cornell had that I wanted to utilize and it worked out for me. I would assume this is the same idea, showing you’ve done your research really does help.

I think you should focus more on practicing than trying to get into Cornell.

^ I wouldn’t be talking. You’ve been in a slump ever since you won your third GSL.

Get your act together.
