I just got a letter saying I am in the top 20 of my graduating class. Is this worthy to mention to all my colleges?

um... wouldn't the colleges know this information by now?

I just received a letter today from my school mentioning that I was in the top 20.

My school does not rank students

I wouldn't worry. D says there are many of her friends there from schools that don't rank, and Amherst looks at other criteria - hardest courses, grades, etc., and your essays are critical.

It shouldn't hurt to send a copy of the letter and a note to the admissions office. Be sure to mention that your school does not rank, so this is the first you heard. It may not make a big difference, but every little bit helps.
