should i move test dates

alright, im in a iffy situation right now. the ACT is in a week from now. I'm a senior, so this is my last attempt to get a high score on the ACT or SAT. right now, i dont feel hot for the ACT and i feel like moving the test date to october. However, i still have the SAT IIs to take on october too, so i need to study for that as well and i still have the SAT 1 to study for in november. Should i take the ACT this week or should i move it to october?

I’m really hoping you’ve already taken at least the SAT already, and you’re not cramming everything in at the last second. In my opinion, you’d be doing yourself a disservice by skipping the ACT now, and trying to work it in at the same time you’re doing the SAT II’s. That’s too much to ask when you’re also trying to get through your regular classwork (not to mention enjoying your senior year). You’ve got a holiday weekend now to put in some good study time, so make the most of it.

yeah, i have taken the SAT 1 already. i just need two sat iis to complete my app. i just need a higher score (1790) :(). my school schedule is different from most of u guys. i have a 2 week break coming up next week. i was planning on using that break to study for both the sat 2s and act. or maybe not?

Well, your school schedule does change things. I think it’s really up to you, then. If you’ve got extra time to study, it might make sense to delay, but there would still be the stress factor of taking so many tests in a short time. Which SAT II’s are you taking?

i plan on taking the math 2 test and the spanish test. im fluent in spanish so im not worried about that one.
