Should I omit putting my SAT scores on the common app??

<p>I took the SAT reasoning test in November and got 1910. I'll retake in January.</p>

<p>I know for sure that I will mention the SAT dates (when I took the test) on the common app, but I am hesitating to put the associated scores. Here's the reason:
Suppose I filled in the scores. Even if they see that I am gonna retake the test in January, they still see that 1910 score which sucks. Consequently, they might put my app in the paper bin without really considering it. Is that a risk? Is it even legal considering that almost all schools promise to give each app a full review in March/April?</p>

<p>I don't see the advantage gained in not writing in the score. You are going to have to send them the scores, so they will see them. I'd say if you had multiple scores to write the best- but I don't think you should leave the SAT section blank.</p>

<p>Well, I agree with scarletleavy. It's best to put down the scores you already received, then put in the Jan test date as "will be taken". So long as your school DOES accept the January SAT, you're safe.</p>
