<p>I'm having g a dilemma, I have always thought I would end up going to a Public school like UCSC, or UCSD for Computer Engineering. But recently I've been thinking about private schools and what they can offer. </p>
<p>So I was wondering if anyone knew of Any good Private Schools (preferably in California) for CE. </p>
<p>Stanford, Caltech, USC. All good engineering schools, all meet need, albeit with their own definitions, so aid packages will vary. USC also has some merit scholarships. Try their net price calculators. Depending on your income level, it’s possible for these places to be either more affordable than a UC (usually Stanford & Caltech, who have better aid) or at the same price (how USC turned out for me).</p>
<p>Also look at SCU.</p>
<p>It’s CE. That is, it’s pretty much the same everywhere that is ABET-accredited. Give your pocketbook some latitude in making the decision.</p>
