I am, it's true. I thought it would be funny and original, make my application more memorable. But a friend said it would be distasteful and would hurt my chances. Your thoughts? :)</p>

<p>It was a cute thought, but the idea has been around for years. Now that you’ve posted it, the likelihood of copycats again this admissions season is high. Do something else with the space you have.</p>

<p>That’s pretty funny. There’s always a chance that someone had used it before, or will use it now. Plus what if admissions don’t bother to research the 2006 Times and just assume you’re not serious about applying? Haha you never want to risk these things…</p>
