my senior grades first semester will probably be (with ap points)
presidential scholarship offers this to top 1-3% of nonresident class and at my school I am 15/372 (top 4%)
103, 99, 96, 98, 100, 101
Why wouldn’t you apply?
What do you mean reapply?
I didn’t get the scholarship the first time (it pays for 150000 per year). but I can be reconsidered if I send in all my informatkon before May 1st
Well if you can be reconsidered then by all means, send the new information, maybe have your rank recalculated?
Also I think the scholarship is more likely $15,000 and not $150,000 a year
This is all still unclear to me. “The first time”? Are you in HS? When did you apply for this before? Are you on a gap year?
I am in high school. I have applied for uc Boulder. you are considered for scholarships when you send in an application. I got accepted but I did not get the top scholarship, called the presidential scholarship, which awards 15000 per year to the top 1-3% of freshman nonresident class. but it says that if I didn’t get it, I can be reconsidered by sending it my high school and testing information. I want to reapply but I don’t want to waste my time
Why would it be a “waste of time” to apply again for this?
If you don’t re-apply, you absolutely won’t get this. If you do, you have a chance.
Can you afford the school if you got this scholarship?
:(|)
More important…can you afford this school without the scholarship?
Just read-apply. Nothing ventured…nothing gained.
It sounds like OP is worried that he/she still won’t qualify.
No one here can chance you without knowing what the competition looks like. Apply! You have more to gain than lose.
You are lucky they are letting you reapply. My son goes to different CO school they wouldn’t let him reapply for a better scholarship even though his scores and GPA went up. They had to use scores and GPA from the application.
