Should I re-apply this year?

I applied for Williams 08-09, and was rejected.

However, I asked for a year's deferment in my application, due to the need for serving out national service in my country (Singapore), which i will be completing this November.

Thus, I still have the choice of trying for entrance again in this year's application.

My concerns now are:

1) Would my application be taken in the same light as that of a first-time applicant?
2) Do I need to make large improvements to my overall application package?
3) Has places for internationals needing financial aid been reduced due to the dismal financial climate?

And just wondering, does anyone know how the average financial aid package is like for internationals in williams? (Just saw a thread on how kenflyken received a poor financial aid package)

Thanks in advance for any advice :)

hmm, anyone?

your cases are rare so there’s nothing anybody can tell you here.

but when people apply Early Decision and get rejected, they aren’t allowed to apply again for Regular Decision. That may be the case here.
