Should I re-take either SAT 1 or 2 for Ivy transfer

Hello everyone,
I have a 1730 for SAT 1. For SAT 2, 790 for Math 1 and 730 for Physics. I sat all these exams without studying much because I was not actually planning on taking SAT at all, and my school did British A-levels, so if i re-sit them I will probably get a higher grade, certainly for the math, but I am not too sure about the writing and reading sections. I applied to the ivies and MIT last year but got rejected. I am now in Miami university freshman year second semester. I want to apply as a transfer to the Ivies, and my question is, should I re-take the SAT 1, or should I do Physics SAT 2 (again) along with Math 2, or should I not bother with the SAT at all.

Why Ivies are so important?
If you do well at Maimi U you will go places. Nevertheless your sat 1 is too low for any Ivies.

@artloversplus‌ I transferred here from Buff state, and I am still not satisfied with the level of teaching here. The professors can not answer alot of my questions and give me around the bush answers. I need people who know their physics very well.
So do you think I should re-take the SAT 1 and not bother with the SAT 2? The only problem with that is that I am not sure I can get my vocabs up in time for the SAT 1 (English is not my first language, and I suck at memorization), so I afraid I might not get a great grade, which might affect my application negatively.

You don’t have to go to the Ivy’s to have good physics professors. Even in the US News rankings for physics, only 3 of the top 10 schools are Ivy’s. Either way, you do not need to go to one of the top 10, top 20, or even top 50 schools to have a good physics professor. If you want to go to an Ivy League school simply because “it’s the Ivy League,” I suggest you do some research and find other schools that are more realistic to transfer into. UIUC is a fairly easy school to transfer into, and it’s ranked #9 for physics. They have one of the biggest physics research environments in the US.

I think that you should retake SAT 1 and get 2100+
