Should i re-take the SATs ?

Hey guys !

I've taken the SATs 3 times now and my superscore is 2090 :
Maths - 790
Critical Reading - 620
Writing- 680

I shouldn't have taken my second attempt, it was a complete waste as i hadn't studied for it.
I'm aiming for schools like illinois urbana champagne, Georgia tech, Michigan Ann Arbor, Austin texas etc.

I've done a fair bit of social service and i have very good EC's and my school grades are good.

so i was wondering if i should take the SAT a 4th time or do i stand a chance for the colleges i listed with my current score.

Thanks for the help !!

Don’t take it a 4th time. Statistically, you probably will not increase an if anything you might go down. Just work with what you have. Both Michican and UT- Austin are possibilities. Depending on the quality of your application, you could very well get into any of these schools  Good luck!

It seems engineering is your intended major. Where is your home state? Your current SAT is a little bit weak for UIUC and UMich particularly for oos student. Have you tried ACT?
UMich does not superscore, so your chance may be even lower there. If your current practice score suggests you can perform significantly better than what you’ve gotten, you may give it another try. Simply retaking the test would not give you a higher score after the second attempt.

Forget ‘Superscore’ most schools do not use it anyway. Are you listed scores your latest attempt or your best at each category?

Probably not most, but many top schools and popular schools do superscore SAT. There are much less schools that would superscore ACT though. UMich does not superscore either.

Im an international student, i live in india. @billcsho‌
