Should I report bad AP scores?

I took precalculus junior year and it was literally a repeat of algebra 2 so I “self-studied” calc AB. Kinda waited till the last minute and ended up with a 3. I’m applying for computer science: Carnegie Mellon (ED SCS), Georgia Tech, UVA, MIT (a bunch of premier institutions, not any of the 8 ivies though). For reference, I have 5 on CS A (self-study), 5 on CS P, 4 on Physics 1. Gonna take BC, US Gov, Stats, Physics C: M (taking course for all of these), and Physics C: EM (self-study). The main reason I took the test was to “prove math aptitude” (idk either) because my school offers multivar calc/matrix algebra as a physical in-school class (like 50 kids take it each year, including this one FRESHMAN like WTAF kms) and ik how much CMU likes math.

Also, I got a 14 on the SAT Essay, should I report it? Ik CMU requires all SAT scores…

No reason to report your AB score, especially since you did not take an accompanying class, and are taking BS this year.

Yes. Don’t try to hide it.
