Should I report these ACT Scores?

Hey guys I just recently received my December scores and here they are

English 27

Mathematics 32

Reading 30
Science 27
Writing 33

Composite : 29

but in my previous ACT I did much better, scoring a 31,

English 27
Mathematics 32
Reading 33

Science 31
Writing 24

Composite : 31

But as you can see my writing score on the second one is much worse,
So do I send in both scores or just the September one? Also do colleges view the scores with respect to percentiles of that test date? because I heard a lot of people got similar writing scores in September.

Any opinions?

Just found out that in the September test my writing scores are 88th percentile while in the December one my scores are 99th percentile, what do you guys think?

Any help guys? I need to send in scores soon.

Ignore the writing score. Send the newer set. Colleges won’t know what to do with the newer vs. older writing scores.

@“Erin’s Dad” I don’t think I quite got you there. So I send in my ACT with the 31 Composite as the colleges won’t pay attention to the writing score?

anyone? opinions would be wonderful!

The composite score is MUCH more important than the writing score. If you are applying to schools as an English or literature major, you might consider sending both scores since the other score would show your strength as a writer. But otherwise I would just stick with the higher composite score.

Yes to post #4. I don’t think the schools will pay attention to the W score.
