Should I report these AP scores on the common app? I took two so far, (taking 4 my senior year).
I took ap lang & ap us gov. I got a 3 in lang, and a 3 in gov. to be honest, i was SHOCKED when i got my scores back, because I expecting a much higher score. I studied hard, and I worked hard to deserve the A's I got in those classes.

I really don’t know if I should report them help?

Some universities require you to report all scores, but I’m not sure if Michigan is one of them. So if I were you I would look into that.

I was wondering the same thing as I got the same scores and I was also shocked considering I had 95’s in both classes

Does the Common App even ask for them? I can’t remember… I don’t recall putting them in any of my applications. They’re typically not used for admissions decisions, as AP scores can be quite misleading, and they’re just not seen as very important for admissions usually. I’m a freshman already moved in and I don’t think I’ve even sent/reported my scores to UMich yet. Don’t worry about it.

YES YES YES.

[AP Credit Policy Info - Advanced Placement Program - AP Policy Search](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)

This shows what the U of M will accept AP wise and your AP Governent qualifies…Also if you don’t thay have to wonder if it was a 2 or even a 1.

You can send in your AP scores as credit at any point as a U-M student. You don’t have to send them in before you apply. Also, no, they don’t “wonder” if it is a 2 or a 1.

You can send them in after you are accepted at any point during your tenure as a student at U-M. Don’t waste the money to send them in now in case you aren’t accepted.

But self reporting them on the common app…will it hurt me?

If a university doesn’t require them (I don’t think UM does), I would not report anything less than a 4 before you are accepted. On the other hand, a 5 and maybe even a 4 would probably be a plus for acceptance.
