Hello, I took two AP exams this year, Calculus AB and Physics 1. I took both courses and studied very hard, and I got 4s on every mock exam in both courses. I checked the Collegeboard website today, and it said that I got a 4 for Calculus AB and a 2 for Physics 1. I am happy with my Calculus score, but I didn’t imagine such a low score for Physics. I mostly have A’s on the AP Physics course, and I never scored lower than a 4 in the mock exam. And right after the exam, I was absolutely certain that I received almost full marks for all my FRQ’s, and at least 3/4 correct for MC. Should I get my Physics exam rescored?
Score changes on AP exams are about as rare as winning the lottery. If you want to spend the $30, feel free, but just know that it is most probably a waste of money.
60% of students get a 1 or 2 on the AP Physics 1 exam, and this percentage has been consistent since the exam was introduced, so it’s really not surprising.
