^ indianguy94, where did that come from?

^lol Maybe he knows him personally?

:D good one!

it’s funny. it’s almost like you planning to retake your 2400 lol!

It’s a very good score (almost everyone’s dream score) already, but if you’re pressured by your “tiger mom,” well go for it again!

That score should put you in at least the 90th percentile for ANY school you apply to. Don’t retake

I have the exact same score albeit I got a 770 in Reading and an 800 in Math.
When I asked a couple of my friends whether I should retake I got a couple of murderous glares. The general consensus, aside from the death stares, was that, like others have already said, anything above a 2300 won’t be what gets you accepted or rejected. At that point, other things will be the deciding factor. Therefore, don’t retake it.

Sorry but trying to retake it when you got a 2330 sounds obnoxious. Just saying. Be happy w/ your score and move on. It’s good for any university…

yes, totally, retake it.

Retake it till you break 2500!

Seriously though, none of us know what you are capable of, your exact motivation for wanting a higher score, or how much you enjoy prepping for or taking the SAT. We can only say what we would do. If you scored 2330, you know that only you can decide … unless there’s a tiger mom in the picture.

Thanks for your advice guys, maybe I was just a little paranoid when I saw many of my friends get a 800 math score, I probably will not take it again, as long as this score is good enough for an ivy league school, but trust me, my mother is even less manipulative than me~

Take that yung Math II. It has the nicest curve, so it’s relatively easy to get an 800. On the other hand, do not take Math I; it has no curve.

This is so sad. You actually think you should retake the SAT? Are you kidding? Are you (or your parents) that obsessed about getting a 2400? about getting into an "ivy league’ schools? What is your nationality? (PM me).

i don’t understand why kids who are smart enough to score 2300+ do not have the common sense to realize that they do not have to retake a score that high

My friend was in this position. She chose to retake to get 2400. She got 2380. She was sad.
